All About Bronze Plaques

Guaranteed quality Cast Bronze Plaques and offer friendly, easy to work with service.

Cast bronze plaques are a solid, one piece plaque made by pouring molten bronze into a custom mould. This process enables the creation of raised lettering, logos, and border designs with fine detail and depth, resulting in a classic, durable, and prestigious looking finish.

Unlike etched or printed plaques, cast bronze plaques possess depth and dimensionality, lending them a timeless and substantial appearance that is suitable for long-term display.

Timeless Recognition That Lasts a Lifetime

Cast bronze plaques are the gold standard in permanent recognition. Whether used for memorials, dedications, building signage, or historical markers, these plaques are known for their prestige, durability, and traditional aesthetic.

At Premier Awards, we craft fully custom cast bronze plaques tailored to your specific purpose, location, and message, all backed by our reputation for precision and exceptional service.

A cast bronze plaque is created by pouring molten bronze into a custom made mould. This process enables the creation of raised or recessed text, logos, borders, and artwork in relief. Once cooled and polished, the plaque is finished with protective coatings and, if required, paint filled details. The result is a solid, one-piece plaque that’s built to withstand the elements while delivering a timeless, elegant appearance

Installation

Cast bronze plaques can be installed on a variety of surfaces, including:

  • Walls (brick, stone, concrete)
  • Granite bases or plinths
  • Timber panels
  • Memorial benches or garden settings

Hidden Studs: This is the most common method of mounting. Drill holes into the surface where the plaque will be installed, such as a wall, stone, or rock. Apply Liquid Nails (or a suitable construction adhesive) into the holes, then press the plaque’s mounting studs into place. Allow to dry fully for a secure and permanent hold.

Direct Gluing: The flat back surface is glued to the mounting item using Liquid Nails.

Adhesive Tape: You can use industrial grade adhesive tape for most small plaques. Not recommended.

Professional installation is recommended for large or outdoor plaques to ensure security and weather resistance.
