Our Premium Anodised Aluminium Control Panels are engineered for durability, precision, and professional presentation. They are a popular choice for industrial control panels. The anodising process creates a hard, corrosion-resistant surface that protects the aluminium while providing a smooth, stable base for engraving or printing. This ensures crisp detail, excellent legibility, and long-term performance in demanding environments.
Premium and exterior grade anodised aluminium is a high-quality, aluminium-based engraving material enhanced with an anodic coating. Sourced from top European manufacturers, it has a premium anodic coating of 16+ micron thickness.

Is this product suitable for outdoors?
Yes. It has a premium 16+ micron coating thickness, which makes it suitable for external applications. You can expect 5-7 years of life in direct UV exposure.
How durable is Premiun Aluminium?
The premium 16+ micron coating thickness makes it a hard-wearing, durable product.
What environments can Premium Aluminium withstand
It is resistant to UV exposure, some chemicals, salt spray, and abrasion, making it suitable for marine, defence, aerospace, industrial, and outdoor applications.
How is the engraving done?
We use Laser Engraving to mark Premium Anodised Aluminium. You can achieve fine detail, and the finish comes out a silvery white colour.
Can Colour be added to Premium Aluminium engravings?
Colour could be added by UV full colour printing or sandblast and paintfill, but the print would not have the same durability and would crack or fade over time. So, best not to add a colour element to Premium Alloy.
What thicknesses and colours does it come in?
It comes in thicknesses of 0.5mm, 1mm, 1.5mm, 2mm and 3mm. We carry 0.5mm and 1.5mm as standard, but can use other thicknesses. The most common colour is Matt Black, but it also comes in Red, Blue, Gold, and Green.
What Applications is it suitable for?
It is ideal for compliance plates, equipment nameplates, safety signage, control panel labels, and asset tags.
